Review Process

After initial selection done the editors of the journal (which takes place within a month from the submission of the article), the paper is sent to two independent reviewers, experts in the field, working in different academic institution than the author. The review process is carried out in accordance with double blind review principles, i.e. the reviewers do not know the name of the article’s author and the author does not know the reviewers’ identity.

The reviewers end their evaluation of the paper with clear recommendation concerning its publications. The following options are available:

  1. Paper is acceptable for publication without revisions
  2. Paper is acceptable for publication with some revisions (indicate)
  3. Paper could be acceptable after major revisions, review should be repeated
  4. Paper is unacceptable for publication

In case both reviews are negative, the paper is not accepted for publication. If one review is positive, while the other negative, final decision concerning its publication is made by the editor-in-chief of the journal. Information on paper’s acceptance is sent to the author within three months since its submission.
